Welcome to Cornwall Children’s Physiotherapy
A specialist practice working specifically for children
About Us
Cornwall Children’s Physiotherapy is a specialist practice working specifically for children.
We offer high-quality therapy based upon current evidence-based research and best practice for a wide range of neuromuscular, orthopaedic, and musculoskeletal conditions as well as general rehabilitation following illness, treatment, or surgery from newborn babies through to adulthood.
In addition, we conduct new baby assessments for parents concerned about their child’s head shape, hips, the position of their feet or reaching that next important milestone. Whether you are concerned about how your child is walking or moving our team will provide a thorough assessment and management plan that is personal to them.
Here at Cornwall Children’s Physiotherapy, we feel every child should have the opportunity to reach their full potential. We provide Physiotherapy that is individual to every child that is fun both for the child and their families. Play is an integral element to this, so all our sessions are exciting and interactive.

Meet The Team
Becky Poulding
Practice Partner & Paediatric Specialist
Physiotherapist

Becky graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Plymouth. Having lived in Cornwall for all her life she knew this is where she wanted to settle and grow her career. She worked in a wide variety of settings both within the NHS and private sector. After securing her experience within respiratory, neurology, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal services she knew her passion lay in Paediatric Physiotherapy. In 2010 she began working as a children’s community physiotherapist within the NHS and in 2017 began offering her skills within private practice. Wishing to develop her skills further, Becky joined the Paediatric Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Service at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in 2018.
Becky is passionate about Paediatric Physiotherapy, and you can often find her at exciting conferences and courses always striving to provide her patients with the most up to date and evidence-based treatments. She is also a committee member for the South West Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists.
Becky is a mother of three children and understands the stresses and worries of being a parent. She also recognises the need for flexibility and making things fun.
